Bad Bad Hats – Midway

Here is the first batch of large format negatives I have scanned in from Barbara’s camera. The second set our proving very difficult so far to do anything with, just because of how reflective they are.

I wish my Mum was still alive! As far as I can make out these are mainly taken from my Great Uncle Maurice’s farm. My Dad spent most of his summer holidays there helping with the harvest. He loved the dog but was not allowed one himself

Phil, the young boy is my Dad. He was born in 1919. The young girl is his cousin Margaret and her parents owned the farm. Her father, my great uncle Maurice was my grandmas brother. His brother owned a dairy and pig farm hence the pigs. They all lived in Leicestershire.
